Data layer

BizKitHub uses several storage systems side by side. Each is chosen for the shape of data it holds best, and every system is covered by strict backup, replication and access-control policies regardless of where it sits in the stack.

PostgreSQLPrimary relational database — the source of truth for every business record.
Blob storageUploaded images, generated PDFs, user files, backups and any other binary content.
RedisEphemeral real-time data, cache and session storage where the ratio of writes to reads is high.
Edge cacheCached responses assembled from several sources — most commonly API responses, transformed images and other static output — served from the region nearest the caller.
Git-backed filesystemVersion-controlled static assets distributed through the platform CDN. Content lives in Git and moves to the edge on deploy.

Data flow

Understanding how requests are processed through the platform layers.

  1. Request authentication — API requests are authenticated via API keys or session tokens with rate limiting applied.
  2. Business logic processing — requests are routed to the appropriate modules where business rules and validations are applied.
  3. Data persistence — data is stored in PostgreSQL with full ACID compliance and referential integrity.
  4. Response & events — responses are returned with optional webhook notifications for subscribed events.
